Gandhi Institute For Technology (GIFT), an IS0 9001:2008 certified institute, is a constituent college of the renowned Gandhi Group of Institutions, established by the Balaram Panda Trust in the year 2007. It has been accredited with NAAC “A” grade and also accredited with “NBA”. It is also recognized as 'Scientific & Industrial Research Organization (SIRO)' by Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. It is an authorized remote center of IIT-Bombay and authorized center to conduct BEC exams of Cambridge University, UK.

Awarded as 'Best Engineering College in Odisha' and 'Top Engineering College in Odisha' in the year 2012 and 2013 in Bhubaneswar Capital Education Fair. In the year 2011 GIFT was awarded as the most promising engineering college by Governor of Odisha. In Competition Success Review's recent survey of India's Top Engineering Colleges-2015, GIFT is the only Top Engineering and Management College from Eastern India and ranked 26th among India's Outstanding Engineering Colleges of Excellence. Awarded as 'Best Higher Education Institution in Odisha' in Educational Summit Eduquest-2015 organized by 'ETV Network'.
